Let’s make something beautiful, practical — and entirely you
— I’m Sarah, the one-woman team behind foubography. I work with musicians, creatives, and small businesses to create websites, photographs, and digital strategies that feel as unique as the people behind them.
Whether you’re launching a new brand or updating something that no longer fits, my job is to make your digital presence clear, confident, and true to who you are — with no fluff, no jargon, and no need for a webmaster.
Who I Work With
— I’ve worked with goldsmiths and glamping sites, opera singers and social media managers, string quartets and therapists. If you’re someone who cares about how your work shows up online — and you want a site or strategy that does your work justice — we’ll get along just fine.
Most of my clients find me through word of mouth, and many have come back again when their next idea was ready. If you want to get a feel for how I work, the Client Stories page is a great place to start.
What I Believe
I believe creative work should be rooted in empathy and clarity. That websites should feel as human as the people who use them. That photography should tell stories, and strategy should actually help.
This isn’t about following trends or chasing perfection — it’s about building something useful and lasting that grows with you.
My Background
I originally trained and worked as a classical opera singer — so I know what it’s like to stand on stage, wear ten creative hats, and make a living doing what you love. Alongside performing, I taught music, directed youth operas, and ran projects in schools and arts organisations before gradually moving into photography and digital design.
I’ve been working behind the lens since 2010, building a portfolio of portrait, opera, landscape and branding photography. I’m also a qualified teacher (QTS) and workshop leader, which is why the DIY parts of foubography — like training, guides, and content calendars — are clear, actionable, and designed to actually help.
These days, I run foubography full time — combining creativity, tech, and strategy to help other creatives show up online in a way that works.
ALSO ME
I trained and worked as a professional opera singer before moving into photography and design. I’ve been behind the camera since 2010, and I’m a qualified teacher and workshop leader with a background in the arts, education, and creative production.
Originally from Belgium, I’m now based in Manchester — raising a family, walking in the Peaks, and building digital things that make life easier for creative people. I work mostly in Squarespace, often with custom code, to keep things clean, flexible, and easy to manage.
