5 Reasons to Hire a Freelance Web Designer for Your Brand

Why Work with a Freelance Web Designer Like Me

Hiring a freelance web designer can feel like a leap – especially if you’re used to doing everything yourself. But when your business starts to grow or your website doesn’t quite reflect where you’re heading, bringing in someone who gets it can make all the difference. I’ve worked with creatives, small business owners, and musicians across the UK to create websites that feel like them – clear, personal, and easy to manage.

1. You get a personal, tailored experience

Working with a freelancer means I get to know you and your business. No automated processes or templated onboarding here – just honest conversations and thoughtful design choices.

2. I make the tech feel simple

You don’t need to understand code or SEO to get a great website. I take care of all the fiddly parts and explain things clearly so you can focus on what matters to you.

3. It’s more budget-friendly than an agency

No inflated hourly rates, no team of ten – just me. That keeps costs down while still giving you a beautifully built, functional website that grows with you.

4. You keep control of your site

I build all websites on Squarespace with your needs in mind. You’ll be able to update your own content after launch – no need to hire someone every time you want to make a change.

5. I’m always a message away

From pre-launch tweaks to post-launch support, I’m here to help. I include one month of free support after delivery, and I’m always happy to offer honest advice when you need it.

Freelance web designer offering website packages

If you’re looking for a freelance web designer who’ll keep things clear, creative and kind – I’d love to hear from you. Have a look at my website packages or drop me a message to talk through what might work best for your project.

Sarah Foubert

I’m a photographer and Squarespace web designer based in Altrincham, South Manchester. I specialise in portrait, landscape and opera photography and also offer a “complete website package” where I can offer headshots, photos of your business and design your new website so you can manage it yourself afterwards.

Over the years I’ve built a portfolio career as a professional photographer, opera singer, wardrobe assistant and singing teacher. I have a MMus from the RNCM, a Bachelor in Theatre Sciences and Musicology from Ghent University and I’m a qualified teacher. When my son was born in 2021 I quickly realised that an opera career wasn’t as compatible with being a mum as much as I would like, so I decided to change my focus completely to photography and web design.

I prefer working with daylight in casual surroundings while having a chat making sure you’re at ease and relaxed. It’s the little moments in between that make the best shots!

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to work with me!
