ABOUT Jenny
Jenny Rust is a soprano, educator, and all-round powerhouse whose energy fills a room—and she wanted portraits that could do the same. She came to me looking for new professional headshots to use on her upcoming website, feeling that her previous portraits didn’t quite show the vibrancy and warmth she brings to her work. Our goal was simple: to create brand photography that felt bright, approachable, and completely her.
WHAT I CREATED
We kept things simple and natural, photographing Jenny in my home studio using soft daylight and my usual minimal setup. The aim was to create space for genuine expression—nothing overly staged or styled, just Jenny as she is: confident, positive, and grounded. With some background music, a relaxed atmosphere, and lots of chat over coffee, we created a session that felt easy and collaborative.
The final portraits reflect her full personality—professional, yes, but also joyful, expressive, and open. These weren’t just headshots. They were part of a bigger picture: a visual foundation for her new website and updated digital presence. While I wasn’t the designer behind the site itself, I’m always happy to create photography with a specific platform or project in mind. Whether it’s for a full foubography build or a collaborative project, I believe good brand photography should fit seamlessly into the rest of someone’s world.
